Many eligible beneficiaries of Subhadra Yojana received Rs 1 in their registered bank accounts during the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) testing. However, this process will not be repeated in the second phase, as confirmed by officials.
Second Phase: A New Beginning:
The second phase of the Subhadra Yojana is set to begin on October 9, when Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will distribute the first installment to over 35 lakh more beneficiaries during an event in Baripada, Mayurbhanj. This phase is expected to boost financial support for women and contribute significantly to their economic independence.
Government officials have emphasized transparency in the implementation of the scheme and urged the public to be cautious of misinformation circulating on social media. Beneficiaries are encouraged to rely on verified sources such as the official Subhadra Yojana website and toll-free number for updates.
A Step Towards Empowerment:
The Subhadra Yojana’s success is a testament to Odisha’s dedication to empowering its women. With over one crore beneficiaries already on board and more to come, the initiative is poised to create a lasting impact on women’s welfare and financial independence in the state. As the second phase kicks off, the Subhadra Yojana continues to drive the vision of a more inclusive, empowered, and economically resilient society for women in Odisha.
